According to the MLA manual, the title, Works Cited, should be centered an inch from the top of the page: items in Works Cited should be arranged in alphabetical order using the author's last name.  If an entry runs more than one line, indent the subsequent line(s) one half inch (or 5 spaces using a typewriter) from the left margin.  Double-spacing should be used between entries and between successive lines of an entry.  These examples are singled- spaced.  Examples are based on MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers.  5th ed.
