Library Resources

Library resources for faculty moving courses online include the following digital content:

  • Coulter Library has electronic resources available through our web site: http://library.sunyocc.edu. Coulter Library licenses digital collections to offer a wide array of material types that could be incorporated into courses. These include articles, books, videos, image collections, newspapers, historical archives, music, and journals and magazines dating back to the 18th century.
  • Open Educational Resources (OER), which are freely available text and course materials, are listed by broad general discipline areas here: https://sunyocc.libguides.com/OER_OCC. These can substitute for physical books.
  • National Emergency Library - The Internet Archive has temporarily suspended all waitlists, allowing you to immediately check out any of the 1.4 million books currently in their lending library until June 30th or the end of the US national emergency (whichever comes later).
