American Women: A Gateway to Library of Congress Resources for the Study of Women's History and Culture in the United States
Contains a more elaborate, fully searchable version of the print source American Women: A Library of Congress Guide for the Study of Women's History and Culture in the United States published by the Library of Congress in 2001. This site has a link to the Library of Congress' American Memory which includes primary documents such as manuscripts, books, pamphlets, photographs, prints, scrapbooks, etc. Excellent search tips are given in a section titled "Searching American Memory for Women's History Materials."

American Women's History: A Research Guide
Provides citations to print and Internet reference sources, as well as to some primary source collections. This guide also contains information for researchers to help them locate further materials such as dissertations, articles and books.

A Celebration of Women Writers
Supplies a thorough list of links to biographical as well as bibliographical information on women writers. In addition, this site lists books authored by women. Users may search by writer's name, century, country, and ethnicity. Over 200 volunteers assisted in digitizing editions of works no longer covered by copyright.
