CINAHL - Firstsearch's Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature provides citations to nursing and allied health literature. Coverage: 1982-present, abstracts since 1986. Update: monthly.

MEDLINE - MEDLINE via EBSCO provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree, tree hierarchy, subheadings and explosion capabilities to search citations from over 4,800 current biomedical journals. Updated: daily.

The New England Journal of Medicine The New England Journal of Medicine is owned and published by the Massachusetts Medical Society. It is widely cited in journals of all medical specialties, the peer reviewed original articles are aimed at physicians and those interested in medical practice. Sections include Images in Clinical Medicine, Review Articles, Editorials, Correspondence, and Case Records of the Massachusetts General Hospital. The online version of this journal includes full text access from 1993 to the present and citation/abstract access for the 1975-1992 timeframe. The Journal has 52 weekly cycles of publication. Access is provided by the SUNY Office of Library and Information Services.
